CTV: Tesla removed from Vancouver Auto Show

I am finding that #scoopz is about a 30/70 split on #maga folks and more liberal people.

Most people have my side. There is still a significant following who do not really pay attention to news, and just blindly regurgitate everything #trump says, which is my main goal with these videos - to make them say stupid stuff, and turn people against them.

None of them realize #canada is fighting and still think it'll be the 51st state.

I had a feeling the other day that I had edited some pics to post then didn't have time/oomph, but couldn't remember what they were, nor where! Just thought about this #cactus that flowered and when I looked for the pics-- all ready to go including alt! Looking through the window from outside at the plant, the flower is now fully open, petals slightly reflexed and showing a faint blush of pink as well as the stripes on the back showing through. The light seems muted and a bit moody. In the background we can see, blurred, part of a wooly whitish cactus to the left, and behind long golden spines of another. A white blob over that one, may be one of the mysterious other dimensional orbs that people see!(or some debris on the window glass...) A partial view of a small cactus 4-5inches/8-11cm tall, somewhere between ball and barrel shape. It is densely covered with spines, many fine gold, reddish tipped which radiate from the aereoles (points where spines originate, each on a small tubercle) upward at first near the new growth at the top of the plant, becoming straight then flat on older part. From the centre of each aereole a single thicker dark spine curves up towrd the centre of the plant. Clumps of fine white wool also grow from each areole, so we only see hints of the green body where the angle is right to see the tubercle bases.
Looking down on the entire plant, flower nearly fully open looking nearly flat from above but not reflexed as it would a bit later in the afternoon. The sun is hitting the plant, coming from behind. It looks chonky and a bit like a little hedge hog and we can see- blurred- the gravel that covers its soil, as well as the rim of the plastic pot, painted sandy grey. A partial view of a small cactus 4-5inches/8-11cm tall, somewhere between ball and barrel shape. It is densely covered with spines, many fine gold, reddish tipped which radiate from the aereoles (points where spines originate, each on a small tubercle) upward at first near the new growth at the top of the plant, becoming straight then flat on older part. From the centre of each aereole a single thicker dark spine curves up towrd the centre of the plant. Clumps of fine white wool also grow from each areole, so we only see hints of the green body where the angle is right to see the tubercle bases.
The flower is just opening, rising straight up and the whitish petals barely beginning to separate at the top.We can see a pink stripe on the back of a petal and greey brown on the outside of smaller ones(sepals?). It is surrounded by some extra wool and a few small dark dried bits from previous flowers (last season).Background is blurred mottled grungy window. A partial view of a small cactus 4-5inches/8-11cm tall, somewhere between ball and barrel shape. It is densely covered with spines, many fine gold, reddish tipped which radiate from the aereoles (points where spines originate, each on a small tubercle) upward at first near the new growth at the top of the plant, becoming straight then flat on older part. Amazon is going to be disabling the privacy feature that processes voice commands locally on Echo devices at the end of this month. Instead, all voice commands will be sent to Amazon's cloud for processing.

I have already followed my own steps to remediate this:

1. Unplug Echo Device
2. Throw Echo Device in Trash
3. Done

Dear Echo Customer, We are reaching out to let you know that the Alexa feature 'Do Not Send Voice Recordings' that you enabled on your supported Echo device(s) will no longer be available beginning March 28th, 2025. This feature allowed compatible Echo devices to process the audio of Alexa requests locally on device. As we continue to expand Alexa’s capabilities with generative AI features that rely on the processing power of Amazon’s secure cloud, we have decided to no longer support this feature. If you do not take action, your Alexa Settings will automatically be updated to ‘Don’t save recordings.’ This means that, starting on March 28th, your voice recordings will be sent to and processed in the cloud, and they will be deleted after Alexa processes your requests. Any previously saved voice recordings will also be deleted. If your voice recordings setting is updated to ‘Don’t save recordings,’ voice ID will not work and you will not be able to create a voice ID for individual users to access more personalized features. If you do not want to set your voice recordings setting to ‘Don’t save recordings,’ please follow these steps before March 28th: 1. Open the Alexa App on your Mobile Phone 2. I don't actually believe this report because I suspect all the smart speakers have been smart mic's all along, constantly recording people despite whatever agreements the company asserted.

Like, #tesla's surveillance tech has meant the company has been doing its own constant societal surveillance for years. Data says with the car, sure, but duhhhh I suspect corporate takes it too.
